The Gulfside Legacy Society recognizes individuals and families who have chosen to make Gulfside Hospice part of their legacy through a planned gift.

By including Gulfside in your estate or financial plans, you help ensure compassionate hospice care and supportive programs remain available for patients and families in our community for generations to come.

Your legacy can help Gulfside continue providing care regardless of a patient's ability to pay while supporting programs and services that bring comfort beyond traditional hospice care, including bereavement support, veteran recognition, caregiver support and Pet Peace of Mind®.

Become a Member of the Gulfside Legacy Society

Membership in the Gulfside Legacy Society is available to those who have included Gulfside Hospice in their estate or long-term charitable plans.

Qualifying gifts may include:

  • A gift through your will or trust
  • Naming Gulfside as a beneficiary of a retirement account, IRA or life insurance policy
  • Gifts of stocks, securities or real estate
  • Charitable trusts and other planned giving arrangements
  • Other estate or planned gifts benefiting Gulfside Hospice

There is no minimum gift amount required to become a member.

 

Legacy Society Member Benefits

Other Tax-Smart Ways to Give

You don't have to wait to make an impact.

Gulfside can also receive gifts through Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) and Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) from eligible IRA accounts.

Donor-Advised Funds offer a flexible way to recommend charitable gifts to Gulfside while managing your philanthropy over time.

Qualified Charitable Distributions allow eligible donors age 70½ or older to make gifts directly from an IRA to Gulfside, which may provide tax advantages depending on your individual circumstances.

We encourage you to speak with your financial, tax or legal advisor to determine which giving option is right for you.
