Area Community Groups and Individuals Rally Support for Gulfside Hospice Through Generous Donations
LAND O' LAKES, FL -- Gulfside Hospice is grateful for the generosity of local community groups and individuals whose recent fundraising efforts are helping ensure compassionate end-of-life care remains available to those who need it most.
These meaningful donations reflect the communityʼs continued support for Gulfsideʼs mission and its commitment to providing comfort, dignity and peace to patients and families.

RISEUp Off-Road, a local off-road enthusiast group and community-minded club, donated $7,500 through its annual fundraising events.

Bay Area Bassmasters contributed $7,290.44 through its annual fishing tournament. Since 2009, Bay Area Bassmasters has donated an impressive $105,000 in support of Gulfside Hospice.

Danny Hescock, a resident of the Betmar community, music lover and member of the Jam Bandits, raised $1,000 by organizing a festival featuring five bands in his community and placing donation buckets throughout the event.

Longtime Gulfside supporter Laurie Bartel and friend Bobby Newberry transformed their 80th birthday celebration into a fundraiser, donating the proceeds to Gulfside Hospice and raising more than $1,000.

Kirsten Becker, owner of Gulfside Pet Pageant-winning Ava Chihuahua, was moved to direct guests at her wedding to make donations to Gulfside Hospice in lieu of gifts, raising more than $3,500 for Gulfside's Pet Peace of Mind program.
