November is National Hospice and Palliative Care Month.
Light a candle in honor of a loved one and provide hospice care for those in need.
This year marks Gulfside Hospice's first annual Light a Candle tribute fundraiser. When you honor your loved one by lighting a virtual candle, their name will be a part of a month-long online tribute. Then, on Wednesday, November 26, join us for a special 20-minute ceremony at our hospice care centers in New Port Richey and Zephyrhills, where every name will be read aloud. If you cannot attend in person, you can still take part online.
Watch for more information to attend this very special event or watch the livestream on our YouTube channel.

Cecilia Saadeh, aged 84, gained her wings on October 10th, 2023, in Zephyrhills, Florida. She was born on April 27, 1939, in Anton, Panama.
Cecilia was a fierce and strong woman who held fast to her beliefs, defended those she loved, and always sought to better herself. She had a deep love of gardening and creating a welcoming and loving home. You would always find her shopping at her favorite stores like Ross, TJ Maxx, At Home and Bealls.
We miss Cecilia dearly, but we are so grateful for the time we spent with her. We will always feel her presence in our hearts.
Grandma Kathy was a strong and independent woman and a great role model to us. We love you and miss you "GK."
Love, your granddaughters Becca and Leah
Denny Swoffer - beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was so deeply loved, and since his passing we’ve learned even more about the many lives he quietly touched—with his steady strength, his gentle way, and a kindness. He helped people grow, he showed up when it mattered, and he never once complained, even when life was hard. We miss him every single day, but we find comfort knowing he is at peace now, free from pain and cancer-free. This light is for him, and for the love he continues to leave with all of us.
